BREAKING: Shildon Fire on Main Street.

There are reports of a fire on the Main Street in Shildon, Durham.
A woman present at the scene reported that the bike shop is unfortunately on fire.
She noted that the owner appears to be outside the shop and is safe.
Many individuals have inundated the comments on various social media posts, hoping for the owner and residents nearby safety.
What have emergency services said?
A spokesperson for the County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service said: “At 10.12am today we received a report of a fire within a shop on Church Street in Shildon.
“We immediately deployed firefighters to the area, with a total of five fire engines and one arial ladder platform in attendance.”
