The holidays are truly coming (see what we did there?!) this Sunday, December 1, at the Metrocentre in Gateshead (NE11 9YG) as the iconic Coca Cola Truck will be visiting from 12pm until 8pm outside Yellow Mall.
Enjoy a magical afternoon or evening full of festive fun. There will be a chance to enjoy a refreshing Coca Cola Zero Sugar, festive food and chance to win exclusive merchandise from Coca Cola.
The tour promises to be its biggest and best year and will this year support FareShare, the UK’s biggest charity fighting hunger and food waste.
However, the centre has issued a warning on social media to line up early, as they could close the queues as soon as 6pm should it get too busy.
Florence Wheatley, marketing manager for Coca-Cola Great Britain Coca-Cola, commented: “Coca-Cola has and remains synonymous with Christmas, with many people eagerly awaiting the Coca-Cola Christmas Truck Tour and Holidays Are Coming advert to create a little festive magic.
“This year, we’re delighted to continue our relationship with FareShare to support its mission to reduce hunger and surplus food waste.
“We hope that every person that attends the Truck Tour not only experiences the magic of Coca-Cola Christmas, but also supports FareShare, knowing that the equivalent of a meal has been donated on their behalf, acting as a little moment of kindness to ensure that thousands of people across the country enjoy a more meaningful Christmas.”
