A Morpeth litter pick team have been hard at work clearing rubbish for their local community.
It is believed that the group have managed to collect over 20 bags worth of litter in the area, and the volunteers hope Morpeth residents will see how much of their work has made a difference to where they live and work.
The Morpeth Keep Britain Tidy Ambassador, Dai Richards,, said: “It is hoped that the people of Morpeth will notice the difference. I definitely did driving around Morpeth later in the afternoon.
“Thanks to everyone who came along, especially your patience in awaiting my decision on Sunday morning whether to go ahead or not.
There is also a chance to join the group in the New Year.
“Our next litter blitz will be on February 23, 2025, the last Sunday in February.”
