A69 Eastbound closed (passing Corbridge), heavy traffic due to accident between A68 (Stagshaw Roundabout) and A68 (Styford Roundabout).
Northumbria Police say: “Shortly after 8.50am, we were alerted by the ambulance service to a collision on the A69 eastbound near Corbridge. Emergency services are currently in attendance at the scene.
“Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternative routes where possible.”
