N-Dubz vocalist Tulisa made a stylish entrance into the I’m A Celeb jungle, and while she quickly became a favorite among viewers, discussions soon shifted to her looks. As she shares the camp with Coleen Rooney, GK Barry, Danny Jones, and others, the former X-Factor judge has discussed her remarkable musical background and television career.

At 36 years old, she has also been open about her recent health issues, such as her Bell’s Palsy diagnosis and the effects of cosmetic surgery on her facial features. With fans eager to see Tulisa’s appearance before her cosmetic enhancements, here’s everything she has revealed about her surgeries, including whether she has had fillers or a rhinoplasty.

Tulisa from “I’m A Celeb” discussed her experiences with cosmetic fillers in a 2014 interview with The Independent, stating, “Yes, I’ve had my lips enhanced, and I’m pleased with them. I’ve also had a slight amount of filler in my cheeks.

“There were times when my face appeared swollen due to water retention from the filler, which caused my face to puff up like a balloon. This led people to speculate that I’d undergone surgery, with many saying, ‘What’s she done? She’s ruined her face.'” The N-Dubz singer has previously addressed rumors about having a nose job, clarifying, “It really frustrates me when people claim I’ve had a nose job. That’s just makeup. You can see how I’ve shaded it.

“So, having lost weight, with fillers in my cheeks, enhanced lips, and contouring, it’s understandable that people think, ‘Wow, you look so different.’ But I’m happy with how I look.” Despite the scrutiny of her appearance, Tulisa shared that her looks have been affected by Bell’s Palsy.

During an appearance on Olivia Attwood’s podcast “So Wrong, It’s Right,” Tulisa reflected on her first experience with Bell’s Palsy at the age of 24: “I was at home when I experienced a significant flare-up of inflammation, which caused my entire face, including my eye, to droop. I couldn’t move it, and for seven months, I stayed home and avoided going out.”

The 36-year-old, who performed in the North East last year with her N-Dubz bandmates, also revealed that she had “three chronically infected cysts” that burst during an exploratory operation. She added, “As those seven months were coming to an end, my face still wasn’t right… I sought fillers to try and even out the symmetry.”

Tulisa explained, “I would say, ‘If you add some to this cheek to match the swelling in that one, and lift this side a bit so my lip isn’t down there.’ It was daunting. Because of the persistent swelling, I ended up dissolving the fillers and compensating by adding filler to the other side to even it out.

“One side would be swollen while the other side would have filler to match. This continued right up until this year; even during the N-Dubz reunion, it was at its worst, and I constantly felt like my cheek was on fire.”

She added, “Some days were better than others, and at times I took steroids to reduce the swelling, which meant you might see me in one interview looking normal, then in another, wondering, ‘What on earth has happened to her face?’”

Reflecting on her experience, Tulisa shared with Lorraine: “I went through various stages, including having an allergic reaction to something, which took me quite a while to resolve.

“I still get fillers in my lips, so it’s really about maintenance. I’m content with it now. It’s all about giving yourself a little refresh.”

The NHS website explains that “Bell’s palsy is a temporary weakness or inability to move one side of the face. Treatment with steroids can be beneficial, and most individuals recover within six months.”
